The April full council meeting will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel from 6pm on Thursday 4 April.
This meeting marks the 50th anniversary of the District Council, which came into being in April 1974
Items scheduled to be debated include a Motion, submitted by Councillor Bob Butcher, proposing that the District Council recognises that the establishment of a Banking Hub in Bakewell is essential to the future prosperity and sustainability of the town, its residents and the local economy, and will lead work to establish a hub in the town.
