Get in touch if your home was impacted by the floods

We are appealing to local residents whose homes were damaged by the floods to get in touch.

As you know, our response teams distributed 2,500 sandbags during the height of the crisis last weekend, and we will be phoning back local people who called our emergency floodline seeking help.

Anyone who hasn't yet reported flood impacts to us is invited to complete this webform.

Alternatively, you can contact us by phone in office hours on 01629 761100.

The information gathered will help us to target welfare visits and support we always offer after serious flood events.

We are now involved in a recovery operation, focusing initially on clearing roads of debris in partnership with the County Council.

On Monday, District Council teams worked in Ashbourne, Kniveton, Carsington, Wirksworth and Baslow, while the County Council focused on Rowsley, Cromford, Matlock Bath and Darley Bridge.

Tuesday's focus was back on Baslow, Ashford-in-the-Water, Stoney Middleton and Bradwell.

A spokesperson said:

"A degree of patience and understanding is needed please if the teams haven’t yet managed to get to your area."
