It was with great sadness that the Council learned last week of the death of Councillor Tony Morley.
Councillor Morley had represented Norbury ward on the District Council since 2015 and served as Civic Chairman in 2019-20. He was also a board member of Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Services.
Our thoughts are with Councillor Morley's widow Michele, herself a former district councillor, and with his family and many friends.
A funeral service will take place at St Andrew's Church, Cubley, at 12.30pm on Monday 2 October, followed by burial.
