The Environment Agency doesn't have any current Flood Warnings for the Derbyshire Dales, but lower grade Flood Alerts remain for the Lower Derwent and River Wye.

Areas most at risk around the Derwent are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Darley Dale, Cromford, Matlock and the B5057 between Darley Bridge and Two Dales Road.

Around the Wye, a flooding risk remains on low-lying agricultural land and roads including Ashford and Bakewell.

The most recent road closure in our area due to flooding is the A6020 Hassop to Great Longstone.

The others are:
  • A623, north of Stoney Middleton, between the village chip shop and the junction of the B6521 at Eyam is closed due to a rock fall - diversions are in place
  • Abney Road, Abney to the Gliding Club - closed because of a landslip and likely to remain so for some time
  • Park Lane, Rodsley, Ashbourne - closed because of flood damage
Any further road closures and safety advice will continue to be published regularly at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/floodinginderbyshire
