A drop-in Health Promotion Day at St Oswald’s Hospital from 9am to 4pm will include a free Boditrax scan, measuring muscle, fat and water percentages, metabolic age and hidden fat around internal organs.
The event also features free easy and moderate level 30 minute health walks from the hospital at 9.30am and 10.30am, plus 15 minute free stretch and tone taster sessions at 12.15pm and 12.45pm.
The District Council's Community Activator Janet Smith said:
“Helping to keep local people fit and healthy is one of our priorities and this event is designed to encourage residents to take the first steps to adopting healthier lifestyles in a low-pressure, friendly environment.”More information about the District Council's health initiatives can be found here, including free health walks across the Derbyshire Dales every weekday.
