Hot topics up for discussion included the District Council’s ongoing savings target – and there was also be an update on the council’s public toilets consultation.
Also up for discussion was the current process to outsource the management of the District Council’s four leisure centres. Attendees heard that feedback to date has helped inform the outsourcing specification, which seeks to protect areas such as pricing, opening hours and programming.
A ‘You Said, We Did’ feedback session was followed by a question time during which residents talked about any local topics.
The forums started at 7pm and took place at the Henmore Suite (McMurtry & Harding veterinary practice) in Clifton Road, Ashbourne, on Tuesday 24 October, at Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre on Wednesday 1 November and at Matlock Town Hall on Wednesday 8 November.
