Rio comes to Ashbourne Leisure Centre on Saturday 23 July with an Olympics celebration that means everyone can try the centre's facilities for FREE.
No-cost activities the whole family can enjoy at the District Council centre from 10am to 4pm that day include a mini Olympic Games, bouncy castles, local club demonstrations and have-a-go challenges, taster gym and fitness class sessions and swimming lessons.
The celebration day happens just two weeks before the Rio Olympics burst into life on 5 August.
And the District Council's community and environment committee chairman Councillor Jo Wild said:
"What a better way to celebrate the Olympics than inviting everyone in to try our great leisure facilities for free.
“We hope 'try before you buy' is going to encourage local people to take the step to get the whole family fit, make new friends, meet the staff and, above all, enjoy themselves."
Anyone who gets involved in the celebration can claim £100 off a yearly cash upfront membership on the day.
