Voting in the EU referendum

If you are registered to vote in the EU Referendum on Thursday 23 June, polling stations here in the Derbyshire Dales are open from 7am to 10pm.

The poll card posted to you tells you which polling station to go to - and you can also find a full list of Derbyshire Dales polling stations here [PDF 205KB]

If you applied to vote by post, but haven’t yet returned your ballot paper to us, you can still hand it in to any polling station in the Derbyshire Dales between 7am and 10pm on 23 June. Alternatively you can return it to us at the Town Hall, Matlock, DE4 3NN, before 10pm on 23 June.

If you have just had a medical emergency arise that means you cannot go to the polling station in person, you can apply to vote by emergency proxy up until 5pm on 23 June.

You can also apply to vote by emergency proxy if your occupation, service or employment means that you cannot go to the polling station in person, and you only became aware of that fact after the proxy vote deadline (15 June). Download the emergency proxy form here.
