Two workers who help to keep the Derbyshire Dales clean and green have received long service awards.
Jason Oldfield from Youlgrave and Alan Buckland from Ashbourne have each clocked up 20 years' service with the District Council.
Both have worked across the beautiful Dales since joining the clean and green team back in 1994. They currently work in and around Ashbourne's streets and parks and are pictured here in the town's Recreation Ground.
"It's always been a challenging job, but it feels good to make a contribution to the town by keeping it looking good for residents and visitors."
Chairman of the District Council's Environment Committee Councillor Steve Bull said:
"The ongoing need to make efficiency savings has impacted on all areas of the services we deliver, not least our parks and streets teams, which were merged recently. It's a credit to the likes of Jason and Alan that our staff continue to embrace change and work hard to maintain the Derbyshire Dales' status as one of the most beautiful places in the whole of the UK."
