New walkers always welcome throughout the year. We meet at different locations around the Dales to enjoy longer walks of up to 3 hours. The long walks are more challenging and often include open rough country, stiles, longer inclines and steeper hills. You will need to be reasonably fit.
Friday Moderate morning walks (weekly)
New walkers always welcome. Our walking group is now going that bit further and enjoying walks from an hour and a half to two hours. The walks are likely to include stiles, up-hill and downhill walking on rougher terrain. We sometimes walk from the Leisure Centre and sometimes car share to a starting point within 10 or 15 minutes drive from the Leisure Centre. Each route is planned by the walk leader before the day, taking into account the weather forecast and conditions underfoot.
