New walkers always welcome throughout the year. We meet at different locations around the Dales to enjoy longer walks of up to 3 hours. The long walks are more challenging and often include open rough country, stiles, longer inclines and steeper hills. You will need to be reasonably fit.
Friday Moderate morning walks (weekly)
New walkers always welcome. Our walking group enjoys walks up to about 90 minutes The walks may include stiles, up-hill and downhill walking on rougher terrain. We usually walk from the Leisure Centre and sometimes car share to a starting point within 10 or 15 minutes drive from the Leisure Centre or take a bus to or from the walk. Each route is planned by the walk leader before the day, taking into account the weather forecast and conditions underfoot.
