Holiday Activity and Food Programme (HAF)

The Holiday Activity and Food programme is delivered to children and young people on benefits related free school meals (not universal free school meals) during the main school holidays

• Winter (27th Dec 23 to 5th January 24)
• Spring (Easter 2nd - 12th April 24)
• Summer (23rd July - 4th Sept 24)

Winter Sports & Activity Camps 2024

• YOUTH Club & Pizza - Wednesday 3rd January at Wirksworth Leisure Centre (4-6pm). If you want to see what this is like come and see the Free Youth Club session every Wednesday at Wirksworth Leisure Centre 5.30-6.30pm (no youth club on 27th Dec) -Book here

• KIDS Camp - Thursday 4th January at Wirksworth Leisure Centre (12noon to 4pm) - Hot food (jacket potato) will be served on arrival. The session is suitable for 6 - 13yrs. Activities vary but include gymnastics, crafting, athletics, hockey, football, basketball, dodgeball etc. Full timetable will be available nearer the time. Pay as you go option also available for £15 per child (please bring a packed lunch as food is not included).
