Next get together walk
The next Get Together walk will be on Wednesday June 26th 2024. We will meet at Thornbridge Hall car park - entrance off the A6020 (the main road between Ashford in the Water and Great Longstone turnoff). The parking is free and there is a good cafe and toilets.
Meet by 10:15 to walk at 10:30am.
Get Together walks have something suitable for everyone.
- Walk 1: a short very steady walk at a very steady pace on good ground for about an hour - a short circuit to Great Longstone and back along the Monsal Trail.
- Walk 2: a walk at a steady pace for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours covering 3 to 4 miles - will include hills, stiles and uneven ground.
- Walk 3: 5-6 miles of beautiful footpaths for just over 3 hours - will include hills, stiles, uneven ground - for fitter walkers.
Come and join us on our hugely popular Get Together Walks with at least 3 different level walks all starting from the same location. Enjoy meeting and walking with the other Dales health walking groups on outstanding walks for all ability ranges.
