Thursday Monthly walks
Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities

Time: 1:15pm meet for a 1:30 start time
Duration: ~90 minutes covering about 2-3 miles
Walk description: A gentle monthly afternoon walk with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and steady on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact the Farming Life Centre to confirm the walk is going ahead.
- March 16th - meet near Calver craft centre. A return to one of our favourite walks by the beautiful River Derwent past the weir. Coffee and cakes at the craft centre cafe.
- April 27th - Tissington - meet in front Herbert's tea rooms for a walk around the village and on the Tissington trail followed by refreshments at the cafe.
- May 25th - Tideswell Dale - meet in the Peak Park car park in Tideswell Dales for a stroll down this beautiful dale. We will follow our walk with a coffee stop in Tideswell.
- June 15th - Baslow Edge - meet in the car park at Curbar Gap for a return to one of our favourite walks across Baslow Edge towards Wellington's monument. Coffee and cakes at Calver craft centre cafe.
