Thursday Monthly walks
Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities

Time: 1:15pm meet for a 1:30 start time
Duration: ~90 minutes covering about 2-3 miles
Walk description: A gentle monthly afternoon walk with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and steady on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact the Farming Life Centre to confirm the walk is going ahead.
- March 21st - National Stone Centre – meet in the car park to walk along the High Peak trail towards Black Rocks. We will enjoy refreshments in the Blue Lagoon café after our walk. Porter Lane, DE4 4LS
- Apr 11 - St Helen’s Church, Grindleford (near the bridge, S32 2JN) for a riverside walk to experience the sights and sounds of Spring. Followed by cakes and refreshments at the church café.
- May 9 - Hulme End Tea Junction car park (SK17 0EZ) to walk the beautiful Manifold Way followed by refreshments at the café.
- June 6 - Curbar Gap car park (S32 3YR) to walk across the spectacular Curbar Edge. Refreshments at Calver Bridge craft centre.
