Community group exercising

Our Stronger for Longer Class has grown so we have split into 2 classes - Chair Based Exercise and Stronger for Longer. The participants of both classes can still socialise together at tea time between the 2 classes at 1.45 to 2.15pm

Chair Based Exercise Class

Tuesdays 1pm - 1.45pm at Ashbourne Pavilion (Cockayne Ave) £4

A seated exercise class for people who want to improve their core stability, strength and balance. Stronger for Longer

Tuesdays, 2.15pm - 3pm at the Ashbourne Pavilion (Cockayne Ave) £4

A gentle exercise class focusing on the Big 6 exercise as part of the Falls prevention programme with balancing and standing exercises. This class will help to improve muscle strength and balance, to help reduce the risk of falls. Suitable for those who may lack mobility & confidence. Health Promotion Days

Our health promotion days are often held at local doctors surgeries, libraries, leisure centres, community venues, etc. These days can give you an insight into how to live a healthier and more active lifestyle in your local area. We often provide free Health MOTs which use Tanita Body Composition Analysis scans. We also offer Health Walks and Activity Taster Sessions.Information about up coming Health Promotion Days below.
