We use a number of social media networks to communicate with residents, businesses, community groups and partners to promote the District Council’s services.

As well as Dales matters and our website, following one or more of our social networking sites is a great way to keep up-to-date with news, events and activities taking place across the Derbyshire Dales.

We carefully choose who we follow, like and share content from but we cannot follow, like or share everything requested or received.We sometimes follow, like or share content we think is of interest or benefit to our residents and customers, but this does not mean that we endorse the originating person or organisation.

Monitoring

We try to respond quickly to the questions and queries we receive on social media.Our social media accounts are monitored during office hours, Monday to Friday - so we can't usually respond to questions asked outside these hours (though we'll reply to questions sent during evenings or at weekends as soon as we can).If your query is serious, urgent, or involves personal details, we advise you to contact Customer Services.
