Licensing & Appeals hearing cancelled

On Thursday 23 December our Licensing & Appeals Sub-Committee was due to consider an application for a Premises Licence for the Femme Fest music festival, on land owned by Minninglow Grange, Pikehall. This meeting is now CANCELLED.

This virtual hearing (via Zoom) was to have been broadcast live from 10.30am on our YouTube channel:

The application - to allow the sale of alcohol, the provision of live and recorded music and the provision of late night refreshment at an annual music festival over a 5-day period in June every year - was to be made under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003.

Before the scheduled hearing the Applicant agreed to the conditions required by the District Council's Environmental Health Manager, being attached to the licence.

Residents have also agreed to withdraw their objection based on the Responsible Authorities being satisfied that the conditions to be attached to the licence will be sufficient to ensure that the event is run safely, and it will be monitored.
