As was the case with Friday's strike, non-union crews are focusing on domestic waste collections - unfortunately we don't have the resources to collect recycling or garden waste.
Seven domestic waste crews are out in the Dales today, together with a trade waste team, but some are operating with only a two-man crew, rather than three.
They are currently focusing on missed domestic waste collections from last week caused by the union introducing work-to-rule measures (from 12 October).
If you have a domestic waste collections scheduled today please leave out your container, but, in the current circumstances, we can't guarantee the collection will happen on time.
Union members are due to return to work tomorrow, when Serco hope to start the catch-up of missed recycling and garden waste collections caused by the two strike days and disruptions from earlier last week - but with work-to-rule continuing, which means no overtime working, further delays are inevitable.
