Love Parks week 2021

Keep Britain Tidy are calling on us to help love, protect and respect our parks this ‘Love Parks Week’ 23rd July – 1st August 2021. This year, more than ever, our parks and green spaces have been a vital lifeline to so many of us during lockdown.

Here are just some of the free events taking place during the week - Friday 23rd – Sunday 1st August 

Mon 26th July - Ashbourne Recreation Grounds and Gardens, walk about looking at how we can improve the open space, 5.30pm-6.45pm meet at Cokayne Ave car park

Tues 27th July - Bath Gardens, Bakewell self-guided trail 10am – 3pm

Tues 27th July - Hall Leys Park, Rusty Rackets 12pm- 1pm

Tues 27th July - Very easy walk Ashbourne Rec 10am-11am at Cokayne Ave car park

Weds 28th July - Explorer day Ashbourne Recreation ground 11am-2pm  

Weds 28th July - Explorer day Hall Leys Park Matlock 11am-2pm

Thurs 29th July - Entrance level and very easy walk, meet at 10am at the bandstand in Hall Leys Park

Thurs 29th July - Walking cricket 2-3pm Dimple Fields, Matlock

Thurs 29th July - Girls football 5.30-6.30pm Helicopter Park, Hurst Farm

Thurs 29th July - Rusty Rackets Ashbourne Recreation Ground 10.30-11.30am

Thurs 29th July - Multi sport 6.45-7.45pm Hall Leys Park

Friday 30th July - Multi sports 5.30pm- 6.30pm Ashbourne Recreation Ground

Keep Britain Tidy will be running their annual Love Parks campaign this summer. This year’s theme is a rallying cry; to Love, Respect, and Protect our parks throughout the summer of 2021 and beyond.
