Commercially sensitive information will be included in an exempt appendix and the 6pm extraordinary council meeting will be broadcast live on Derbyshire Dales District Council's YouTube channel below.
Councillors will debate the provision of a new indoor leisure attraction – a two-screen cinema - and enclosure of part of the covered bus bay area next to the Market Hall to provide an ancillary commercial use to support the regeneration of the town centre.
A District Council spokesperson said:
"We've reconsidered a legal recommendation that this meeting should be held in camera. This is about enabling transparent decision making while protecting the financial interests of other parties affected by the proposed decision that the Council is being asked to take."
