Public participation at virtual meetings

We've improved the way local people can participate in our virtual council meetings.

Since the introduction of virtual meetings at the start of the Covid pandemic public participation has happened, but only via comments submitted to meetings in writing.

Now a secure way of members of the public speaking in the public section of the Zoom meetings has been agreed.

As before, the meetings themselves will continue to be broadcast live for everyone on the District Council's YouTube channel. Only members of the public who apply to speak will be allowed into the actual Zoom session.

Anyone wanting to comment or ask questions on items listed on a particular meeting's agenda must give notice before 12 noon on the working day before the meeting via our webform

You can also email or call 01629 761133 in working hours.

Alternatively post any comments to Democratic Services, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Town Hall, Matlock DE4 3NN.

Upcoming meetings include the monthly Planning Committee next Tuesday, 10 November. View the agenda [PDF].
