More Flood Warnings

Flood Warnings were issued by the Environment Agency on the Rivers Wye and Derwent on Sunday 23 February.

A Warning was still in place on the River Derwent at Darley Bridge until just before 9am on Monday, though Warnings on the Wye at Bakewell and Ashford in the Water were removed just after 6pm on Sunday.

An earlier Warning at Litton Mill was removed late on Sunday morning.

Flood Warnings mean flooding is likely and the Environment Agency said on Monday morning that, with further rain forecast, it was possible Warnings could be re-issued.

A Flood Alert remained in place for the wider Derwent area on Monday, with flooding still likely to affect some roads and low-lying land.
