Proxy vote deadline - 4 December

If you're going to be away from home for the upcoming General Election, you have until 5pm on Wednesday 4 December to apply for a proxy vote.

The deadline for postal votes has now passed, but you can still appoint a proxy to vote for you. He or she must be willing to vote on your behalf and legally be allowed to vote. Please note you cannot apply for a proxy vote if you have already applied for a postal vote.

Completed proxy vote applications must reach us no later than 5pm on 4 December.

Download the proxy vote form here or via the link at the foot of this page,  complete it and return it by post to:

Electoral Registration
Derbyshire Dales District Council
Town Hall

Alternatively you can scan/photograph your completed proxy form and email to or bring it in person to the Town Hall in Matlock before the deadline.
