Your District Council is organising two free business improvement workshops aimed at local businesses that are looking for advice on how to grow.
The workshops which will take place at the Agricultural Business Centre in Bakewell on 27 June and the Gothic Warehouse in Cromford on 4 July will include information on sales and marketing, better financial management, how to improve your bottom line, the Digital Growth Programme and the Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme.
Speakers include Darren Buxton, Business Growth Specialist at Sheffield City Region Growth Hub, Heather Bradford from Derbyshire Dales Business Advice Service, Rick Graham, Director of Benchmark Skills Ltd & Board Member of Business Peak District and Rubina Blackwell and Richard Bruford from East Midlands Chamber of Commerce.
Derbyshire Dales Chief Executive Dorcas Bunton who will be opening the Cromford workshop said:
"These free business improvement workshops are part of a continuing series of events that aim to help our local businesses who want to improve their marketing, financial performance and use of digital technologies. It's a great opportunity also for businesses to network, boost their knowledge and feed back ideas and views direct to the District Council."

As part of the D2N2 LEP Growth Hub, the District Council delivers Derbyshire Dales Business Advice, a free independent advice service for small and medium sized enterprises within the district. The business improvement workshops form part of this service which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Derbyshire Dales District Council.
