Your District Council has introduced a new automated telephone payment line which means residents can now make phone payments by credit or debit card 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Providing the same facility as the District Council's online payments options, the new service – which went live today on 01629 761295 - is designed for customers who prefer to use the phone to pay Council Tax, business rates, invoices or overpayment of benefits.
A District Council spokesperson said:
"Making our payment options more efficient means payments by cheque and at 'All Pay' points will be phased out during 2017. Both these options will end on 31 December 2017. Customers are encouraged to set up direct debit or standing order payments."
- Callers who are wishing to ring to make payment for any other service should call the Customer Communications Team on 01629 761166.
