July Bakewell Farmers’ Market takes place one week early

Your District Council’s next Bakewell Farmers’ Market will take place one week early this month to make way for the setting up of Bakewell Show.

Generally held on the last Saturday of every month at the District Council’s Agricultural Business Centre (ABC), the multi-award-winning event will be held on Saturday 22 July from 9am to 2pm.

The popular market attracts several thousand visitors per month, many of the 70 stall holders are selling out before closing time – and there is a significant list of potential traders on the waiting list.

There’s a tempting array of produce to choose from including organic meats, ice-cream, English wine, vegetarian curry, pickles, fruit vodkas, honey, pasta sauces, artisan bread, beer, chocolate, fish, free range eggs and much more!

Plentiful parking is available at the ABC in Bakewell and future dates for the Farmers’ Market are 26 August, 30 September, 28 October, 25 November and 23 December.
