Get back to netball in Baslow!

Baslow is being invited to get back to netball on Tuesday evenings.

Starting from Tuesday 31 May, the 6pm hour-long sessions on the Baslow Sports Field multi-use games area are designed to gently introduce - and reintroduce - females aged over 16 to the game of netball.

Organised by Village Games in partnership with Derbyshire Dales District Council, Tryumph Health and Baslow Sports Field Trust, it's the third back to netball session in the Derbyshire Dales following on from similar initiatives in Ashbourne and Brassington.

Said Derbyshire Dales Village Games Coordinator Ian Dipaolo:

"Sessions are coach-led and cover basic skill development and court play. The focus is learning new skills while at the same time having fun playing netball with friends. Even those who really didn’t get on with netball at school are discovering that it’s actually an enjoyable team sport. So come and give it a go!"

The sessions cost just £5 and anyone interested can simply turn up or, for more information, email tryumphhealth@outlook.com or call 07855 943236.
