For the first time ever Matlock Bath Illuminations are heading for a last night sell-out.
Remaining tickets can be booked online at just £5 for adults. Accompanied under 16s are free.
As organisers we're warning that anyone who turns up for the 2015 Halloween finale on Saturday 31 October without a ticket may not get into the showpiece event. Already it's been a record-breaking year for one of the region's top autumn festivals, which brings a £3-million boost to the local economy.
Exceptionally fine weekend weather has boosted attendances since the Illuminations burst into life on 12 September - and with just three shows remaining, already thousands of people have booked online for the last night.
A District Council spokesperson said:
"We think it's important to stress that we can never guarantee visitors will be able to buy tickets on the night. This year we're offering cheaper prices for people who book in advance online and we think there's a good chance we could be sold out when the last night online booking deadline closes at midnight on 28 October.
"We've had a fabulous season so far and our thanks go not only to the tens of thousands of visitors but also the stars of the show, our fantastic boat builders, who really have pulled out the stops again this year for the unique river parade, which is the centrepiece of the Illuminations tradition."
- Visitors are being urged to come along in fancy dress for the Halloween finale, which will end with a fireworks display.
