Celebrating National Bike Week

There is lots going on in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales to celebrate National Bike Week 13-21 June.

Events to look out for include:

Sunday 14th June - Family Led Ride with PDNP Cycle Hire

Cyclists in the Tissington TrailThe Tissington Trek!
10am for a 10.30am start from Mapleton Lane car park. Up the trail to Alsop (lunch at Alsop – bring packed lunch) and return via Tissington to look around the village and shops etc. Arrive back at centre after 3pm.

All on traffic-free trail and quiet lanes in and around Tissington village.

Monday 15th June – Women's Led Ride with GO Cycling

10am start from Hassop Station Cycle Hire. Along the Monsal Trail and back for a café stop at the end. Perfect for everyone, beginners welcome as are small children. Booking not required.

Wednesday 17th June – Bike Maintenance for Beginners

6:30-8pm – This basic bike maintenance session will keep your pedals turning and give you confidence to head out into the world with your bike.
Cost £10 including a goodie bag.  And why not stay after for some delicious refreshments from the Hassop Station Café, open until 9pm?

Thursday 18th June – Carsington Water Led Ride

10am start from the Cycle Hire Centre. This ride is on terrain a little more challenging than our Monsal Trail rides, but still traffic-free around the beautiful Carsington Reservoir. Booking not required.

Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June – Eroica Britannia

Eroica BritanniaThree days of fabulous family-orientated fun - a big festival in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.

This is the second year of the Eroica Britannia and it's bigger and better than last year.  Lots going on, with the Great British Adventure Ride around the Peak District on pre-1987 bicycles, music, shopping, food village and loads of other family-friendly activities in an event labelled as "The Most Handsome Festival in the World".
