Local views are being invited after Wirksworth submitted its draft Neighbourhood Plan to Derbyshire Dales District Council.
All comments on the draft will be taken into account at a Neighbourhood Plan examination.
The draft plan and feedback forms are available now online and also at Wirksworth Town Hall, Wirksworth Library, Wirksworth Leisure Centre and at the District Council's Matlock Town Hall headquarters.
Wirksworth councillor Mike Ratcliffe, the District Council's Neighbourhood Champion, said:
"Much work has gone into the preparation of this plan for Wirksworth, and now we want the views of local people – because its proposals impact on their future.
"Our feedback forms include an opt-in to be kept notified of the District Council's decision on whether to accept the Examiner's recommendation and the subsequent future progress of the plan."
The deadline for feedback is 5pm 11th December 2014
- Wirksworth Town Council - with the help of the local community - has prepared the neighbourhood development plan for the parish. The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to help determine planning applications in the area.
- This plan proposal has been formally submitted by the District Council to be subject to a period of six weeks of publicity. The publicity period runs from Thursday 30 October to Thursday 11 December 2014. Any comments should be received by the District Council by 5pm on Thursday 11th December. Comments received after this time will not be considered.
