The Cow Shed Beer Festival

The second annual Cow Shed Beer Festival was held in beautiful Bakewell on 21 and 22 June 2019.

After a successful 2018 launch at our Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre, the Cow Shed in 2019 showcased 40 ales from within 30 miles of the popular market town, plus local cider, food stalls and live music.

We were open from 2pm to 10.30pm on both days.

Cheaper £6 advanced tickets were available online including a souvenir glass, free half pint of your favourite tipple and tasting notes. The cost was £8 on the day.

Food & entertainment

Food stalls for your delectation at Cow Shed 2019 featured roast meat sandwiches, burgers & hot dogs.

We had fabulous local live bands playing on each of the two nights of the festival, supported by the fantastic Beat NTrak DJ Landrover.

Little Dog

Little Dog led the way on Friday 21st June with their awesome rhythm and blues, with a dash of soul.

Rivers band
On Saturday it was the turn of Rivers, an energetic rock/indie/Britpop covers band from Derbyshire, who performed songs from all your favourite bands.

Children were only allowed in the afternoon until 6pm - and we also welcomed well behaved dogs on a lead.
