Thursday Monthly Easy walks 1.15pm – 2.30pm
Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities

A gentle monthly afternoon walk, on Thursdays. Meet at 1.15pm for 60 - 90 minutes walk, with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and ‘Easy’ on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact Pauline beforehand on 07538 785666 to confirm the walk is going ahead.

Thursday 27th June 2019 - Tissington

Meet in the village opposite Herberts Tea Rooms, on street parking available.

A return visit to this lovely location, circling the village and the Tissington Trail.  Followed by coffee and cakes at the tea room.

Thursday 25th July 2019 - Coombes Dale

Meeting in the car park near the football ground on the edge of Stoney Middleton.  It is just 1/3 mile from Calver garden centre towards Stoney Middleton from Calver crossroads.

A little known walk up Coombes Dale where the flors and fauna are very beautiful.  Followed by a choice of refreshments at the Garden Centre Cafe.

Thursday 15th August 2019 - Monyash

Meet in the area opposite the cafe in Monyash.  Park anywhere in the village.

We will be exploring different aspects of the village and the surrounding lanes.  Coffee and cake in or outside the cafe depending on the weather.

Thursday 26th September 2019 - Millers Dale

Meeting in the car park at the old railway station car park in Millers Dale.

The walk takes us up part of the Monsal Trail in this beautiful part of Derbyshire.  Followed by conversation and cakes at the recently opened railway station cafe.
