Thursday Monthly Easy walks 1.15pm – 2.30pm
Supporting the well-being of Peak District Farming Communities

A gentle monthly afternoon walk, on Thursdays. Meet at 1.15pm for 60 - 90 minutes walk, with the opportunity for coffee and cake and a good chat afterwards! Our walks are short and ‘Easy’ on good surfaces but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, please contact Pauline beforehand on 07538 785666 to confirm the walk is going ahead.

Thursday 19th March 2020 - Cromford Mill
Meeting in the car park next to Cromford Mill.  We will cross the road and take a leisurely stroll by the canal.
Our refreshments will be taken in the cafe at Cromford Mill.

Thursday 23rd April 2020 - Sparklow
Meet in the car park at the Royal Oak pub (postcode SK17 9QJ)
We will walk along the high peak trail enjoying the panoramic views.
We will have coffee or a beer in this lovely pub

Thursday 14th May 2020 - Biggin
Park somewhere near the Waterloo Inn in Biggin (SK17 0DH)
Our first walk ever around the secret byways of beautiful Biggin
Coffee and cakes to follow in the cafe at Hartington farm shop and cafe

Thursday 25th June 2020 - Alport and Youlgrave
Meeting in the Layby and small parking area at Alport
A walk along Bradford Dale followed by a trip into Youlgrave itself for a look at the Well Dressings,
Refreshments in Youlgrave Village shop and tearoom
