  • Walk description: A steady walk on rougher footpaths including stiles and hills.

  • January 11th - Monsal Head on roadside to Little Longstone
  • January 18th - Alport - park in the layby on main road
  • January 25th - Rowsley - Peak Village - park in the rear walkers' car park
  • February 1st - Great Longstone village on roadside
  • February 8th - Calton Lees car park
  • February 15th - Ashford in the Water - park by the old footbridge
  • February 22nd - Edensor - park next to church
  • February 29th - Rowsley - Peak Village - park in the rear walkers' car park
  • March 7th - Alport - park in the layby on main road
  • March 14th - Calver - park by the church
  • March 21st - Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre - park in pay & display car park
  • March 28th - Foolow by village green

Friday morning walk (weekly)

  • Walk leaders: Brenda and John
  • Walk description: A steady walk which may include some rougher ground and easy stiles, and may go up some hills at a very steady pace.
  • Time: 9:45 am
  • Duration: ~90 minutes covering about 2-3 miles
  • Meeting point: meet outside the Police Station

Leisurely walks in and around Bakewell. Please bring your Gold Card with you as we often jump on the bus and walk back along the Monsal Trail into Bakewell

Friday morning walk (weekly)

  • Walk leaders: Lynne, John and Marcus
  • Walk description: A very steady walk on good ground. If this walk includes a hill then it is taken at a very steady pace with as many stops as is needed to get to the top.
  • Time: 10:30am
  • Duration: 30 - 60 minutes, a mile or so
  • Meeting point: Water Street at the back of the Bakewell Pudding Shop

A great opportunity to start walking again. Suitable for people looking for gentle exercise and good company. Routes are chosen to ensure walks are on good surfaces
