Skills Information for Employers
Businesses in the Derbyshire Dales could benefit from a number of Skills programmes that are available across the Sheffield City Region and the D2N2 area. Both the SCR and the D2N2 Growth Hubs recognise the need for businesses to invest in their workforce and to create expertise to drive business growth.
If you are a business looking for financial help to train your staff, you may be eligible to apply to the Skills Bank; part of the SCR Growth Hub which supplies businesses across the region with access to high quality training and funding to support skills training that could help develop your business. All the information and the application form can be found at https://skillsbankscr.co.uk/
In addition to Skills Bank, you may be eligible to apply for fully-funded support to boost skills in your business. Skills Support for the Workforce will help you to upskill your staff through via a wide range of accredited and non-accredited programmes to choose from at various levels. And best of all, some of our programmes only take a day or two to complete - meaning minimal impact on your business.
