Programme videos

We have created a series of videos along with partners to explain the plans for Ashbourne Reborn:

Councillor Sandra Spencer, Mayor of Ashbourne

"This is a way forward, and exciting times are ahead. Not only for the businesses, but for the residents and visitors alike. This project is really going to put Ashbourne on the map. It will make our town a much better place for people to visit and enjoy."

Thank you to Councillor Sandra Spencer, Mayor of Ashbourne for sharing her thoughts on Ashbourne Reborn.

Sean Clayton, Shrovetide Walk

We're at Shrovetide Walk, home of Ashbourne Thursday Market where Sean Clayton, local resident and director at Ashcom talks us through plans for the area under Ashbourne Reborn.

The area will be developed into a welcoming space with seating, where commemorative artworks will celebrate the unique contribution to the Ashbourne community of the annual Royal Shrovetide Football.

This project is led by AshCom, a not for profit volunteer-led organisation who have contributed vital match funding through local fundraising and sponsorship. It is part of the highways and public realm project within Ashbourne Reborn, led by Derbyshire County Council.
