Local Strategic Partnership

Statement of values

We recognise that there is added value in working in partnership towards common aims and objectives.

Meaningful consultation builds relationships, improves policy development and enhances the design and delivery of services and programmes.

We will give equal value to all members, the contributions they make and the skills, experience and commitment they bring. Decisions need to be made jointly with all partners.

We are each committed to making available our knowledge, expertise and resources to:

Achieve the aims of the Local Strategic Partnership
Enable all partners to contribute to their full capacity

However, we recognise that each partner has a different capacity and purpose - any contribution to the Local Strategic Partnership will reflect these.

We will ensure that any training provided is open to all members and joint training should be undertaken when possible.

We will ensure that any evaluation is carried out jointly with all members involvement.

We will ensure that the membership of the board reflects all sections of our communities which we serve and that any information that comes out of the Partnership is open and accessible.
