To save money, the Spring 2017 edition of our Dales Matters publication is being delivered to households across the district this week in the same envelope as residents' Council Tax bills.
An online version can be viewed here [PDF 3MB].
Published twice a year, Dales Matters keeps residents informed about the services we deliver for you and your priorities.
The current issue explains our decision to increase Council Tax in 2017/18 by 2.6%, which means average Dales household will pay around 10p more a week for our services than in 2016/17 (an £5 extra per year for a band D property).
There are also articles about how to get involved in the review of our four leisure centres, a new telephone payments system, the launch of a planning advice service, the introduction of so-called 'Big Belly Bins' at busy locations in the Dales, new charges for bins and sacks, plus a round up of news including the latest affordable housing schemes across the district.
