Local residents are being invited to have their say on Derbyshire Dales District Council's spending plans for 2014/15.
The next round of Area Community Forums will be staged by the District Council in February in Ashbourne, Matlock and Bakewell.
District Council Leader Councillor Lewis Rose OBE said:
"I have gone on record as saying this council is facing the most serious challenge I have experienced in almost 40 years of local government.
"The squeeze of local government finances could seriously impact on the services we offer, with £2.9-million additional savings needed in the next six years. These Forums are therefore a timely opportunity for local people to get a first hand view on the action that needs to be taken and, of course, to air their views."
All start at 7 pm and anyone who can't attend in person can email questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org or via the District Council's Facebook and Twitter pages. The 10 February forum will also feature a live Twitter feed.
The Forums provide an opportunity for residents to informally meet representatives of the District Council and other organisations.
North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group will be presenting on its development plans in the Derbyshire Dales at the 10 & 17 February forums.
A Question Time session will enable audience members to ask questions and make comments and suggestions to the various representatives from participating authorities.
