All set for big Illuminations finale

Get there early! That's the message as our 2012 Matlock Bath Illuminations season ends with a fireworks finale this Saturday (27 October).
It's no longer possible to book online for the last night of the Illuminations, but tickets will be available on the night from the Ticket Office situated on the entrance to Derwent Gardens for people who arrive well in advance of the entertainment starting at 7pm in the District Council's Derwent Gardens.
Tickets are also currently available in person at the Peak District Mining Museum.
Prices are:
- Adult: £4.50
- Over 60: £4.00
- Accompanied children: Free (under 16) - but ticket required
- Disabled: Free - but ticket required
The famous parade of decorated and illuminated boats makes its way up and down the River Derwent for the last time in 2012 from 8pm, and the clifftop fireworks finale - sponsored by the Heights of Abraham - starts at 9pm.
The village of Matlock Bath will be incredibly busy, so visitors are asked to think about alternative transport arrangements, including the park and ride scheme and local train service.
Please respect residents of Matlock Bath by not parking in residents-only side-streets or on grass verges in the village.
