Business event boost for Wirksworth

Derbyshire Dales District Council is providing a free introductory event to people from the Wirksworth area on what's involved in starting up a new business.

The seminar, 5.30pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 24 May at Wirksworth Town Hall, will be presented by the District Council's Business Adviser, and will guide attendees through all the main practical tips to starting a business.

Derbyshire Dales Business Adviser Heather BradfordThe event is part of the District Council's new service - Derbyshire Dales Business Advice - funded by Derbyshire Dales District Council and run by professional business adviser Heather Bradford.  The seminar, one of a number run by the District Council, is being supported by Business Peak District.

Bookings for the event are being taken through a simple online enquiry form.  New businesses must be based in the Derbyshire Dales to benefit from the free advice service. Those interested in attending are urged to use the web enquiry method as a first option, or call 01629 810903 or 07825 344653.

Heather is also providing face-to-face support by appointment for Dales businesses wanting to grow and take on more employees.
