Gritstone edges offer a challenge to climbers, who come to the area from all over the country. Or if you prefer to relax with a spot of fishing or golf, there are plenty of excellent locations to enjoy yourself. Rivers and reservoirs offer excellent water-sports and the hills and edges offer superb opportunities for air-sports such as hang gliding and paragliding.
