Reservoirs

We own and maintain a dry reservoir located in public open space on the Yokecliffe Estate in Wirksworth.

Its purpose is to attenuate flows from the two Ordinary Watercourses serving the rural catchment above the estate in such a manner as to provide protection against extreme rainfall events and avoid surcharging of the surface water system below the reservoir for up to a 50 year return period event.
