Car parks - council

We provide off-street public parking at numerous locations throughout the district.

Most are pay and display, with some free and a few which are reserved for permit holders only.

All car parks are regulated by the Derbyshire Dales (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2008. They are patrolled daily by Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO's) appointed through the Parksmarter partnership whose brief extends beyond enforcement to promoting safer parking practices. 

We are registered with the National Safer Parking Scheme and has several PARKMARK accredited sites.  More will be added in the future and we would welcome your support by following Home Office guidance to motorists .
