Transport and Streets Home Page
Derbyshire County Council (opens in a new window), as the Highway Authority, has the responsibility for the majority of functions and service areas associated with Transport and Streets.
We work with the Highway Authority to provide certain services such as grass cutting relating to road safety and gully emptying under an Agency Agreement.
We have direct responsibility for other services; mainly street cleaning and related issues.
