Our walks are short and ‘Easy’ but may involve some stiles or ascents/descents over a short distance. Roll and Stroll Accessible Walks
1st Monday of the Month 11.00am (March - October)
Enable have been providing care and support services to people with learning difficulties since 1990. We also provide supported housing for people aged 55 and over, and a range of other services to vulnerable people.
Roll and Stroll are fully accessible walks led by qualified walk leaders. The walks start and finish from the venue where the pace and length of walk are set by you. Disabled parking, good food, refreshments and accessible toilets (sometimes radar keys) are available – bring a packed lunch or get some lunch at the cafes.
If you need someone to support you please don’t come on your own as unfortunately we can’t offer any additional support. Please ring with any questions.
Last year we have run very successful walks from Hassop Station along the popular Monsal Trail, from Carsinton Water Visitor Centre along the resevoir edge, and from Cromford Wharf along the beautiful Cromford Canal.
Wear appropriate shoes and check the weather forecast and bring waterproofs or a brolly if necessary.
