Dementia friendly walks

Very Easy (Dementia Friendly) Walks Tuesdays

Walking Works! Walking is for everyone. It’s free, simple and gentle on the body. You can do it on these short accessible, mostly wheelchair friendly walks*.

The Peak District National Park, and the Derbyshire Carers Association have joined our partnership with Making Space to increase the number of Dementia friendly walks.

Everyone is welcome to join these Very Easy walks which will also enable those living with dementia and carers supporting loved ones to enjoy gentle exercise, good company and the great outdoors.

We guarantee a warm welcome and a programme of walks designed specifically for you at your pace (15 – 75 mins) .

If you need someone to support you, please don’t come on your own as unfortunately we can’t offer any additional support. Please contact us and we will try to accommodate you (see below).
