Our fitness staff, both gym based and those teaching group exercise, are well-qualified, experienced and friendly, with a wealth of knowledge and bags of enthusiasm. 50+ Aqua Fit

Water aerobics using water resistance to improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone for 50+ customers. Tick   green      

50+ Supervised 

 Between 1-2pm, follow your personalised exercise programme under the supervision and guidance of friendly supportive instructors. Then at 2pm join the instructor for stretching, balance and relaxation exercises. Suitable for anyone over the age of 50, all abilities and health conditions welcome.  Tick   green      

50+ Multi Activities 

Turn up and take part in different sports from badminton to table tennis.    Tick   green    

Abs Blast

 A vigorous abdominal workout designed to tone, build and strengthen abs whilst also helping improve core stability.        Tick   green

Aqua Combat 

An explosive, energetic pool session combining a mix of martial arts, combat and kickboxing against the resistance of the water.  Tick   green      

Aquat Fit

Arc Combat

Aerobics

Ashtanga Yoga

Body Tone

Perfect for improving flexibility whilst adding tone to the muscles. This session is great for improving core strength and stability whilst maintaining flexibility throughout the muscles.   Tick   green      Tick   green

Bootcamp

A circuits class with power. High intensity, high interval training to improve your strength, stamina and endurance.  Tick   green      

Boxercise

Based on the training concepts which boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press ups, shuttle runs and sit ups. Most boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness standards.        

Buggy Bootcamp

 Exercise with your baby/child in its buggy. A circuit style class focusing on toning, core strengthening and general fitness. Regain your pre-baby body!  Tick   green      

Chair Based

Gentle, group exercise class designed for those with limited mobility. The session encompasses a range of movements to ensure all-over body workout using adjustable resistance bands so you can work at a pace which suits you.    Tick   green    

Circuits/Circuit Training

Fit Ball

Developed by physiotherapists, Fit Ball provides an unstable base which encourages participants to engage their core to maintain balance whilst helping to improve full body conditioning.  Tick   green

Fit Totz

 A fitness class for 3-5 year olds, with games and activities integrating play with learning. Also features Balanceability – ‘learn to cycle programmes’  Tick   green      

Gym Circuits

 Similar to circuits and circuit training, a multi stationed fitness class using the gym equipment to combina cardiovascular exercise with strength and toning to improve all areas of fitness.  Tick   green      

Healthy Hearts

A gym based class for customers recovering from heart conditions. A fully qualified cardiac rehabilitation instructor will lead the class and is available throughout to support individual needs. You must have completed a cardiac phase 3 programme before attending this class.    Tick   green    

HIIT Kettlebells

High intensity exercises involving the kettlebell, designed for toning and strengthening muscles in your upper and lower body.    Tick   green    

Indoor Stages Cycling

Indoor cycling taken to a new level with state of the art Stages indoor bikes. Combining cardiovascluar with increased lower body, core and upper body strength with the speed, cadence and power of our new bikes and a fun, dynamic and exciting environment in which to train.

Insanity

Metafit

Pilates

 For people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness. The aim is to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and well being. Pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension.     Tick   green    

PiYo

Combines the muscle-building, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of Yoga.  Tick   green      

Pound

Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, this is a full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.  Tick   green      

Step Aerobics

A choreographed class with a variety of routines, using a step box. It focuses on improving different components of fitness including cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance and tone. Step Aerobics also helps develop balance and flexibility.   Tick   green  Tick   green

Swiss Ball

Swiss balls (also known as stability balls or exercise balls) are large, inflated rubber balls which vary in size between 35-65cm. The exercises can range from very basic through to extremely complex movements that engage numerous muscles at one time.        Tick   green

Tai Chi

An ancient Taoist system of complete health and fitness through promoting balance and stability in both body and mind. Walking Football

 Walking football sessions let players of all ages, abilities and experience lace up the boots once again for a thrilling hour of tactical fun! Walking football is exactly what the name suggests, it's the same as a regular game but running and jogging are strictly against the rules.    Tick   green    

X-Bikes

A high energy class to music performed on specialised stationary bikes and a really effective workout for those looking to improve their fitness, stamina, endurance, tone up the lower & upper body and burn serious calories.
