If you wish to carry out cosmetic body piercing you must be registered with the District Council. It is illegal to carry out cosmetic body piercing without yourself and the premises being registered.
From 1st April 2018 the application fee for a personal registration is £82.00.
Once registered you will be able to practice at any premises in the Derbyshire Dales that are registered for the purpose.
The fee for registering a premises is also £82.00. Cosmetic piercing cannot be carried out at a premises that is not registered for the purpose.
You must be able to comply with the Council's Bye-Laws before your premises will be registered.
You will need to complete an application form for the premises and separate applications for each person that requires registering. The application form can be downloaded here. Payment can be made by telephoning 01629 761313 - cheques and cash payments are no longer accepted for licensing applications.
