We are setting up further apprenticeship posts in a range of service areas across the District Council. These apprenticeships are a great opportunity to get recognised qualifications, learn new skills and gain valuable work experience. On completion of the apprenticeship there may be opportunities to do a second year qualification or apply for suitable vacancies with us.
Anyone living in England, over 16 years old and not in full-time education can apply for an apprenticeship. All apprentices will work a minimum of 30 hours per week which will include either day release at college or on-site training. Apprenticeships are available at Intermediate (Level 2), Advanced (Level 3) and Higher (Level 4/5).
Further information on apprenticeships is available on the National Apprenticeship Service website.
