Visit Peak District

As part of a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project – Growing and Developing the Visitor Economy within Derbyshire, Marketing Peak District and Derbyshire offer the following business support workshops. 

These events are FREE for visitor economy businesses (accommodation, attractions, activity providers, cafes, pubs, restaurants etc) based in Derbyshire. As this programme of events is funded via ERDF you will be required to complete an eligibility enrolment form.

27th April - 5 Steps to a better (greener) business.  Full day workshop at Losehill House Hotel and Spa, Hope.

Being green is not only good for the environment but it is great for your business's bottom line too! Join us to find out more.


3rd May - Accessibility Awareness. Full day workshop at East Lodge Hotel, Rowsley.

This growing market is worth £12.1 billion; are you getting your share? Do you have accessible facilities and just aren't sure where and how to market them? This session will give you lots of tips and ideas.


10th May - Germany Welcome. 2 half day workshops; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both at Callow Hall Hotel, Ashbourne.

Germany is one of the main target markets for our current and upcoming international marketing campaigns - is your business ready?


18 May - Social Media for 'fab greenies'. Full day workshop; venue to be confirmed.

You've done all the hard work, your business is 'green' , but how do you get the message out to your potential customers in a warm and engaging way? This workshop is just what you're looking for!


23rd May - Boost your business. Hassop Station Cafe, Hassop

25th May - China Welcome.  Full day workshop at the New Bath Hotel, Matlock Bath.

China is one of the fastest growing markets and is one of our target markets for our current and upcoming international campaigns.  THis workshop will tell you everything you need to know to make visiting Chinese guests welcome.  Places on this workshop are limited to one per business.


6th July - Marketing your accessibility - how to make the most of the purple pound!

So many businesses in the area have amazing accessibility facilities and yet they are our best kept secret! Now is the time to shout to the world about the facilities that you have.  Join us to find out where and how you should be marketing yourselves; it's a £12.1 billion market after all!

Derbyshire Dales Business Improvement workshops: how to find and win funding for your business Feb/March 2017
