Sustainability Appraisal
It is a legal requirement that all Local Development Documents, including the Core Strategy are subject to a sustainability appraisal.
This involves assessing the sustainability of the document against a range of social, economic, and environmental factors. The Sustainability Appraisal Report will be amended and consulted upon, alongside the emerging Core Strategy.
The Sustainability Appraisal Scoping Report for the Core Strategy will be consulted upon in March 2009 at the same time as the Issues and Options.
